Since the last issue of Hoolet, one new successful practice has completed the Quality Practice Award…. Congratulations to Keppoch Medical Practice, Glasgow, who successfully completed QPA on 27 January 2004.

Numbers of practices successfully completing the Practice Accreditation scheme are: 476 successful practices to date with a further 192 practices in Scotland working towards PA. Updated details of awarded practices can be found on our website at www.rcgp-scotland.org.uk/quality_and_standards .

9 candidates have been awarded MAP to date. The most recent success has been:

Dr Ian Cannon, Glasgow Congratulations go to Dr Cannon.

This brings the total number of MAP Awarded to 9 with 29 candidates now working towards this achievement.

37 members in Scotland have achieved the Fellowship of the College via this route to date.
